OVERVIEW>>
San Miguel High School was founded in 2004 by the
Brothers of the Christian Schools, commonly known as the De
La Salle Christian Brothers. San Miguel is the second Cristo
Rey Model opened by the San Francisco District of the Christian
Brothers (the first is De La Salle) North Catholic High School
in Portland, OR. Through the integration of the strong educational
heritage and charisma of the Brothers of the Christian Schools,
and with the financial support that the Cristo Rey Model provides,
San Miguel High School provides opportunities for a college
preparatory education for Tucson students who may not have
the financial resources necessary to attend other tuition
based schools.
