SUMMARY STATEMENT
As the chief administrative officer of the school, the Principal directs and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the academic, religious and extracurricular life through the faculty and staff.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

2 . DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT -

The Director of Development is responsible for fundraising, overall communication with the public, day-to-day supervision of the Development Office, and direction of the school's annual giving and capital campaigns.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*With approval from the President, Board of Trustees, and campaign counsel, develops and implements an initial capital campaign.
*Communicates clearly and consistently with the public through the quarterly newsletter, all mailings, and events and to the media.
*Coordinates visits and meetings between President and potential major donors.
*Meets regularly with the chair of the Development Committee of the Board of Trustees to help set the committee's meeting agenda and to coordinate the fundraising efforts of each member of Board of Trustees.
*Manages the grant application process, fosters and maintains strong relationships with the foundation community, ensures that grant applications are of high quality.
*Facilitates events which bring together potential donors with the President, students, and staff.
*When and where appropriate, solicits major gifts from potential school benefactors.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Arts or Sciences. Five years experience in development/advancement or a professional sales organization wit a track record of meeting significant fundraising or sales targets. "Start-up" experience with a development program or related area is highly desirable. The candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills as well as a proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers, donors and staff. Computer proficiency required, with working knowledge of donor software preferred.

3. BUSINESS MANAGER -

*Oversees all financial activities for the school, including preparing the overall budget for submission to the Board of Trustees as well as managing the school's financial /banking relations, supervising the collection of tuition, payment of bills and collection of income. Overview:
Cristo Rey Jesuit High School , a Catholic college preparatory school located in the Pilsen neighborhood, is seeking a full-time certified nurse practitioner for the 2007-08 school year. The school will also consider Registered Nurses or Certified School Nurses with experience.

Job Description:
The Nurse Practitioner functions as a Christian health resource and educator for CRJHS students, families and faculty. The primary purpose of the NP is to promote wellness and prevent accidents and diseases among the students.

Duties:

  • Provide Christian-based health education to CRJHS individuals and families.
  • Educate CRJHS families about available community, state, and federal health resources including health insurance programs and primary care health clinics.
  • Collaborate with Mobile Care Asthma Foundation.
  • Triage and care for acutely ill students.
  • Case-manage chronically ill students.
  • Maintain accurate student health records.
  • Collaborate with the Athletic Department to maintain compliance with state and Illinois High School Association (IHSA) regulations.
