In addition to unrestricted gifts of cash, there are many ways to contribute:

IRA Charitable Rollover
For a limited time, donors 70 years old or over can make charitable gifts to the Cristo Rey Network directly from their IRA.

Congress recently passed a new law that revives a powerful giving opportunity allowing donors to make an immediate impact on the Cristo Rey Network in 2008.

• Authorize a qualified charitable distribution directly from your IRA to the Cristo Rey Network of any amount up to $100,000 in 2008.

• This distribution counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the current tax year.

• The funds distributed are never included in your adjusted gross income. The distribution goes to the Cristo Rey Network tax-free.

• Even taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions enjoy a tax benefit from giving under this new law.

These charitable IRA distributions often take some time to set in motion, so act soon!

Restricted Gifts
You may restrict your gift to a specific Cristo Rey Network program or to one of the schools.

Memorial and Named Gifts
The Cristo Rey Network invites you honor a family member, loved one or friend.

Appreciated Assets
Donors can deduct the full market value of appreciated stock, allowing for a reduction in tax liability.

Matching Gifts
