Kathleen McHugh Cote is an Atlanta community volunteer. Born in suburban Philadelphia, she graduated from Boston College in 1983 and pursued a career in journalism at the Atlanta Journal/Constitution. After a brief stint living in London, she transitioned to freelance writing and wrote a book in cooperation with the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce that was published by Longstreet Press. Over the past 25 years she has been involved in community service, fundraising for the Marist School, Boston College and Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. She is a member of the Boston College Board of Regents and serves on the board of the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia and Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. She and her husband Michael have four grown children and three grandchildren.
