Most recently, Martha Wyrsch was Executive Vice President & General Counsel for Sempra Energy Corp, a San Diego-based Fortune 500 energy-services company, where she oversees all the company’s legal affairs.
From 2009 to 2012, she served as president of Vestas American Wind Systems, the Portland, Ore.-based affiliate of Danish-owned Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Ms. Wyrsch served nearly ten years at Duke Energy and its spin-off, Spectra Energy Corp., where she was president and CEO of Spectra Energy Transmission. Prior to joining Duke Energy, Ms. Wyrsch worked at KN Energy, Inc., from 1991 to 1999 in a variety of senior roles; served as an attorney with Davis, Graham & Stubbs in Denver; and was a legislative assistant to former U.S. Sen. Alan Simpson (R-Wyo.).
In addition to her board service with Cristo Rey Network, she is currently a director of Spectris plc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wyoming and a law degree from George Washington University. She also completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
