Fr. David Mastrangelo, S.J., is a native of Cleveland, OH. He was educated by the Ursulines at St. Clare School and by the Jesuits a St. Ignatius High School. Fr. Mastrangelo earned a BA in History at the University of Detroit and a MA in History at the University of Illinois/Chicago. He earned a Master of Divinity and a Th.M. from the Weston School of Theology in Cambridge, MA. and was ordained to the priesthood in Cleveland in June, 1987. He taught English and Theology at the University of Detroit High School and Toledo St. John’s High School. Fr. Mastrangelo helped found Detroit Loyola High School in 1993, where he served as teacher, principal, and president until 2012. Since 2013 he has served as Director of Mission and Jesuit Identity at Christ the King Jesuit College Prep High School and as Superior of the Taylor Street Jesuit Community.
