A Communication to Cristo Rey Network Friends and Family | July 2023 |
|
|
Dear friends of Cristo Rey, In my first two weeks as the new President & CEO of the Cristo Rey Network, I continue to be inspired by the passion for this mission in everyone I meet. While I have been a part of Cristo Rey for nearly a decade, it never ceases to amaze me that this crazy idea actually works - and thank God it does! While on the University of Notre Dame's campus last week with the Cristo Rey Executive Leadership Program, I took the opportunity to deliver a message to the Cristo Rey teams across the country. I wanted to highlight the incredible success of the College and Alumni Counseling teams in our schools and the College Initiatives team at the national office. Through their hard work and the work of Cristo Rey students, nationwide, a record number of 23 graduates of the Class of 2023 will attend Notre Dame this fall for an average out-of-pocket cost of $700 per student per year. Partnerships like this are invaluable to our shared mission of students achieving their fullest potential. Read on to see the many exciting accomplishments of our Cristo Rey school teams and their students, as well as the announcement of three influential leaders who have recently joined our National Board. |
