Director of Corporate Work Study


POSITION SUMMARY

The Cristo Rey Network seeks a Director of Corporate Work Study who will provide leadership and support for our national Corporate Work Study Program. The Director of Corporate Work Study is responsible for supporting the professional development for 40+ Corporate Work Study Directors and 125+ Corporate Work Study Coordinators across the country, refinement and implementation of our workforce training curriculum, and support for school and national relationships with corporate clients. This individual will report to the Vice President, Corporate Work Study.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the success of our 40+ Corporate Work Study Directors and 125+ Corporate Work Study Coordinators
    • Develop and oversee a relevant professional development program for Corporate Work Study leaders across the Network
    • Provide customized support to school leaders in development of strong program operations, student development, and impact
    • Facilitate collaboration among school leaders and schools to scale effective practices
    • Guide the effective use of technical solutions (e.g. Salesforce) to produce desired outcomes
  • Support school efforts to attract and retain corporate clients
    • Support development and dissemination of of effective practices in remote and hybrid student work models
    • Research, solicit and develop relationships with national, multi-city corporate clients
  • Refine and implement our four-year workforce training curriculum
    • Develop our network-wide understanding of the necessary technical and human skills that students need to succeed, refining the curriculum as needed
    • Ensure effective school implementation of our workforce training curriculum and assessments

HR Manager


Position Summary

The Cristo Rey Network seeks a Human Resources Manager who will lead the human resources function for our national office (25-30 employees). The HR Manager will also be responsible for supporting the ongoing professional development for two groups of Cristo Rey school employees across the country - (1) Directors of HR and (2) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) leaders. This individual will report to the Cristo Rey national office CFO.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the human resources function for our national office.
    • Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures.
    • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, insurance, vacation, and other personnel packages.
    • Lead all employee recruitment and onboarding efforts.
    • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
    • Manage and refine the employee performance review process.
    • Organize and deliver employee trainings including DEI programming, Lunch and Learns on various topics of interest and legally mandated programs (i.e. Sexual Harassment).
  • Ensure the success of our 38 Cristo Rey school HR professionals
    • Develop and oversee a relevant professional development program
    • Provide customized support to school leaders in development of strong HR policies and procedures
    • Facilitate collaboration among school leaders and schools to scale effective practices
    • Develop, refine and implement best-in-class HR policies and procedures at our schools - (1) performance review processes, (2)faculty and staff compensation structures including recommendations for incentive based compensation, (3) recruitment and hiring processes and (4) other topics as appropriate.
  • Support school efforts to develop and attain Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) goals across their school - faculty, staff and students.
    • Develop and oversee a relevant professional development program with external subject matter experts.
    • Facilitate collaboration among school leaders and schools to scale effective DEI practices
  • Coordinate national office support for recruitment and onboarding of leadership team members including president, principal and Corporate Work Study Director

Associate Director of School Growth and Student Recruitment


Position Summary

The Cristo Rey Network seeks an Associate Director of School Growth and Student Recruitment who will support the national office work in leading our expansion efforts. This individual will report to the Director of School Growth. The Associate Director will be responsible for meeting our goal of having 50 schools by 2027, and every school meeting their student enrollment goal. This role requires a strong commitment to serving underserved youth and a keen understanding of the challenges of opening new schools dedicated to serving them.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support launch of new feasibility studies: Work with local communities to launch new feasibility studies in high priority markets.
    • In collaboration with the Director of School Growth, analyze prospective markets to determine feasibility of a school launch and prioritize opportunities.
    • Assist in managing inquiries from parties interested in helping further the Cristo Rey movement.
    • Travel frequently to meet with new Feasibility Study teams.
  • Support ongoing feasibility studies and launch year schools: Support new school teams from feasibility study stage through acceptance as a full member school, serving as the subject matter expert and the liaison between the new school teams and national Cristo Rey office departments.
    • Collaborate with functional experts from the national staff to consult and train new school teams in key areas such as academics, corporate work study and finance.
    • Be the primary point of contact for all non-instructional related issues including operations, finance, HR, legal and facilities.
    • Manage the ongoing, day-to-day execution of the feasibility studies, new schools in launch year, and year one of operations.
    • Engage in fundraising as necessary and appropriate for the benefit of the Cristo Rey Network and/or local feasibility studies. Have a basic understanding of the workings of charitable foundations and their grant application cycles and requirements.
    • Have a detailed knowledge of the CRN Replication Process Document and be able to articulate the timelines, requirements, goals and objectives thereof, and provide support to feasibility study teams in meeting those goals.
    • Have a passion for and understanding of the history and mission of the Cristo Rey movement.
    • Support in managing the Cristo Rey Network growth strategy: Become knowledgeable about the history, growth and development of the Cristo Rey Movement, and be able to articulate the growth visions.
    • Be our School Choice expert: Study, follow legislative developments in, and understand the workings of school choice programs across the United States as they may impact Cristo Rey schools.
  • Ensure Success of our Admissions Directors:
    • Professional Development: Support professional development for admissions directors. Identify internal and external best practices in recruitment strategies and admissions cycles. Disseminate to school teams through regular webinars and an annual in-person conference, as well as one-on-one school visits.
    • Community: Engage with a virtual community of admissions directors through regular communications, resource sharing and knowledge management.
    • Strategy: Develop and implement a Network-wide strategy to support schools’ efforts to increase enrollment, with a focus on new schools and schools that have been consistently under-enrolled.

Information Technology Manager


Position Summary

This is a full-time role. The Information Technology Manager will provide day-to-day support for hardware and software issues, onboarding of new employees, and general technology maintenance for the Cristo Rey Network national office. This individual will be responsible for managing network connectivity, hardware purchasing, and inventory, software licensing and managing the information technology budget. This individual will also provide administration support for Salesforce applications used by Cristo Rey schools.


What You’ll Do

  • Day to day support of any hardware or software issues
  • Onboarding of new employees, offboarding of departing employees
  • Management of user accounts in national office systems
  • Supervise purchasing of all electronic assets for the network, including computer hardware
  • Plan and maintain Information Technology Department budget in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Manage all software licensing
  • Maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Periodic use of Google Apps Script / JavaScript for internal processes
  • Maintenance of Google Sites for internal documentation
  • Work with our schools to improve their use of Salesforce and our custom apps for managing Corporate Work Study and Alumni Support
  • Host both in-person and remote training sessions both with individual schools and with groups of users
  • Provide end-user support for Salesforce, maintain internal support documentation and ticketing system
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Technology certifications are a plus
  • Four or more years of experience working in Information Technology strongly preferred
  • Friendly, helpful, and patient personality
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Flexibility / ability to adapt to changing schedules and requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot both software and hardware issues
  • Experience with computer networks and Wifi management
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript / Google Apps Script
  • Experience with database design and management
