A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably-inclined individual, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash and publicly-traded stock to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.

If you have a DAF with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon, you can use this link to directly request a distribution be made to the Cristo Rey Network.

If your DAF is with another administrator, please contact Brenda Morris at bmorris@cristoreynetwork.org or 312-784-7208 to discuss how you can easily request a distribution from your fund to support our mission.

In Memory Gifts
Memorial gifts are a special way to acknowledge a friend or a loved one who has passed away. A print or e-card will be sent to anyone that the donor indicates should receive an acknowledgment.

In Honor Gifts
Honor gifts are a meaningful way to commemorate special milestones—baptisms, confirmations, marriages, anniversaries, birthdays and more. A special acknowledgement will be sent to the honoree notifying them of your thoughtfulness.

Bequests
Join our Legacy Society of friends who have established a future gift to Cristo Rey Network by including a bequest provision in your will. If this is of interest to you, the language below may be of help you and your attorney.

IRA Qualified Charitable Gift
Donors 70½ years old or over can make charitable gifts of any amount up to $100,000 to the Cristo Rey Network directly from their IRA. This qualified charitable distribution counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the current tax year. The funds distributed are never included in your adjusted gross income. The distribution goes to the Cristo Rey Network tax-free. Even taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions enjoy a tax benefit from giving under this law. Contact your tax advisor or IRA provider for details.

Charitable Gift Annuities
Would you like to make a significant gift to the Cristo Rey Network without being concerned about outliving your savings? For donors over the age of 55, a Charitable Gift Annuity is a one­-time gift in the form of cash or securities from you to the Cristo Rey Network in return for an immediate charitable deduction and fixed income payments for the rest of your life. The Cristo Rey Network pleased to partner with the National Gift Annuity Foundation, a vetted provider (at no cost to us) offering attractive rates ranging, depending on the age of the donor. Beneficiary Designations
Make Cristo Rey Network a full or partial beneficiary of your annuity or life insurance policy, 401(K), or IRA by requesting a beneficiary designation form for your plan administrator. Our legal name is Cristo Rey Network, and our Federal Tax ID #04-3730980.
