CEO and President Search Process Announcement

Following the announcement that Elizabeth Goettl will be retiring in June 2023 after six years in her role, the Cristo Rey Network (CRN) announces that it will open a search for its next President & CEO.  The CRN Board of Directors has established a search committee to plan and execute a strategy to identify top CEO prospects. Candidate submissions to the Board will be solicited and received until September 1, 2022.  Committee members, the CRN national office team, CRN school leaders, and other Cristo Rey community stakeholders are encouraged to communicate this opportunity to those whom they believe may be excellent candidates for the role.  It is the Board of Directors’ objective to identify, fully vet, and secure the services of a newly appointed President & CEO prior to the end of 2022 in order to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.

Candidate submissions will be received by:

  • Nick Howley, Past Chair, President Search Chair, Cristo Rey Network Board of Directors
  • John O’Shea, Chair, Cristo Rey Network Board of Directors
  • Mike Cherwin, Human Resources Director, Cristo Rey Network

The Network delivers a career-focused, college preparatory education in the Catholic tradition for students with limited economic resources, uniquely integrating rigorous academic curricula with four years of professional work experience and support to and through college. We partner with educators, businesses, and communities to enable students to fulfill their aspirations for a lifetime of success.
