Lt Col Mary Lea Bordelon

Lt Col Bordelon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Portland ‘09 as well as a Master’s Degree in International Relations from American Military University ‘18. She is a distinguished graduate of Reserve Officer Training Corps and Squadron Officer School. As the Philippines and Indonesia Country Director at Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, she helps manage the international affairs between the U.S., the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Prior to her current position, Major Bordelon was the lead planner of the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff of the Air Force Strategic Execution Group, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon. As lead planner she led content shaping and development for the Air Force’s highest level decision making forums and strategic alignment events. Also, as an instructor pilot with 1,800 hours including more than 650 combat hours in the C-130J, she has been deployed multiple times in defense of our nation as part of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa.

As a proud alumna, she also serves as a member of National Alumni Association.
