Saint Anselm joins 46 additional University Partners across the country that demonstrate an informed appreciation of the promise and potential of Cristo Rey graduates
The Cristo Rey Network announced Saint Anselm College (NH) as the organization's newest University Partner. Saint Anselm joins 46 additional University Partners across the country that demonstrate an informed appreciation of the promise and potential of Cristo Rey graduates and a commitment to recruiting, supporting, and graduating economically-disadvantaged students, many of whom are first generation college students and/or students of color.
"The team at Saint Anselm College recognizes the value of a Cristo Rey education and are committed to ensuring that the ambition of our students is met with high-quality instruction and support once on campus," said Cristo Rey Network Director of College Initiatives Stephanie Arias. "We are hopeful that many Cristo Rey graduates will reach their goals and aspirations through this partnership."
Founded in 1889, Saint Anselm College has been, and desires to remain, a small college dedicated to delivering a first-rate, liberal arts education. Saint Anselm is a Catholic, Benedictine College providing all its students a distinctive liberal arts education that incorporates opportunities for professional and career preparation. It does so in a learning community that encourages the lifelong pursuit of the truth and fosters intellectual, moral and spiritual growth to sustain and enrich its graduates' personal lives, work, and engagement within local, national, and global communities.
"We are excited to partner with the Cristo Rey Network as a way to strengthen our commitment to educating first generation students. I look forward to seeing more Cristo Rey students join our community in the future," said Eric Nichols, Vice President of Enrollment and Dean of Admission at Saint Anselm College.
