January 10, 2019 (CHICAGO) – The Cristo Rey Network announced the appointment of three new members to the national office Board of Directors: JoAnn Chávez, Joseph Della Rosa, and Thomas J. Healey.
With the addition of these new members, the Board is now comprised of 26 prominent leaders from the business, education, and religious sectors to govern the Cristo Rey Network.
"We are pleased to welcome JoAnn, Joe, and Tom to the Cristo Rey national Board of Directors," said Cristo Rey Network President and CEO Elizabeth Goettl. "These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise in their fields and have already demonstrated a tremendous commitment to the Cristo Rey movement on a local and national level."
JoAnn Chávez is the Vice President, Legal and Chief Tax Officer for DTE Energy, a Detroit based diversified energy company involved in the development and management of energy related businesses and services nationwide. DTE Energy currently provides jobs for 36 student workers of Detroit Cristo Rey High School.
Joseph Della Rosa is a private investor and Lead Partner of Della Rosa Investment Partners. Prior to Della Rosa Investment Partners, Joe spent 20 years of his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. Joe was a founding board member of Cristo Rey Newark High School and has served on the Board of Georgetown University.
Thomas J. Healey is the Founder and Managing Partner of Healey Development LLC and a Senior Fellow at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Tom is a retired partner of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and previously served as Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury for Domestic Finance.
The Cristo Rey Network gratefully recognizes departing Board Member, Bob Mooney, who has been involved in Cristo Rey on a local and national level for the last 18 years.
