Albion College Named University Partner

Albion College (Michigan) becomes a University Partner of the Cristo Rey Network.

The Cristo Rey Network recently announced Albion College (Michigan) as the movement's newest University Partner.

"For nearly two decades the Cristo Rey Network has impacted more than 27,000 students in underserved communities around the country, creating a clear path not only to college but toward success in college. Albion is a place where that success can be forged and realized -- where opportunity, support, and setting come together to provide an exemplary residential liberal arts education that equips and prepares our graduates to engage, to act, and to make their own impact, " said Albion College President Mauri Ditzler. "Albion is proud and eager to embark on this journey with the Cristo Rey Network in the years ahead."

Albion College is a private liberal arts college of approximately 1,500 students and is nationally recognized for its academic excellence in the liberal arts tradition, a learning-centered commitment, and a future-oriented perspective.

"We were attracted to Albion College due to their demonstrated commitment to embracing students of diverse socioeconomic needs," said Stephanie Arias, Director of College Initiatives. "While some colleges have a diversity and equity campaign in name alone, Albion College invests significant resources behind their partnerships and we are thrilled to be a member of their community."
