33 prominent leaders from the business, education, and religious sectors govern the Cristo Rey Network

The Cristo Rey Network Board of Directors recently approved the appointment of two new members, Julie Boland, EY Vice Chair and US-Central Region Managing Partner, and Andrew Stith, President of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee.

With more than 30 years of experience, at EY, Julie Boland is responsible for driving market leadership, developing and retaining talent, creating high-performing teams and instilling exceptional client service in a practice of more than 16,000 professionals with nearly $4.5 billion in revenue. She also serves as a senior consulting partner for many of the firm's largest clients in the consumer, health care, and manufacturing industries.

Throughout her career, Julie has championed and mentored rising leaders. In her role as US-Central Region Managing Partner, she's focused on engaging Ernst & Young LLP people and clients in adapting to a changing workplace and adopting the growth mindset needed to thrive in the Transformative Age. With more than 15 years of leadership in the Cristo Rey movement, Andrew Stith currently serves as the founding President of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee. In 2012, Andrew led the 20-month market study to explore the possibility of a Cristo Rey high school in Milwaukee. Under his leadership, the successful Feasibility Study culminated in the opening of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in August of 2015, and today thrives academically and operationally, educating more than 400 young men and women each school year. Most recently, Cristo Rey Jesuit Milwaukee raised campaign funds and built a new state of the art $33 million campus home that it moved into this past year.

Prior, Andy was a founding leader and Vice President of Advancement at Cristo Rey Kansas City High School, he oversaw school communications, fund development, and community outreach.

  • Jim Gartland, S.J., Pastor, St. Mary Student Parish at the University of Michigan
  • Rev. David Mastrangelo, S.J., Director of Mission and Jesuit Identity, Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School (Chicago)
  • Diana Spencer, Executive Director, William G. McGowan Charitable Fund; and
  • Martha Wyrsch, Energy Consultant and Board Member of Cristo Rey San Diego High School

With these appointments and departures, the Board is comprised of 33 prominent leaders from the business, education, and religious sectors to govern the Cristo Rey Network.
